Impulse's decay rate?

Post by bauer.cc » Mon May 21, 2007 12:58 am

Hello everyone!

I am wondering how I can get a sound assigned to slot in Impulse to last more than just like two seconds before fading out. I want to put clips in the different slots for performance, so I can easily switch between different drum measures. Is this possible?

I've turned the decay rate all the way up, but it still fades out after like two seconds.

Thanks!

I don't think you can turn the envelope completely off, you can just set the length to 10 secs.

You could try just using session view instead.
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Thank you! How do I set it to 10 seconds? I feel dumb, but I can't find it.

My problem with session view, which could probably be corrected as well, is that it starts at the next bar when you press Play. How do I turn that function off? It's no fun when it does it for you!
