midi assignments with oxygen 8 issue

Hi there – can anyone help – I’m using an Oxygen 8 midi controller with live 5 and after my last gig live only seems to recognise the assignments on certain buttons from the controller – could anyone tell me from their experience could it be a hardware or software issue? It only reads off the data slider. Transpose and modulator – weird?
