Beginner question about recording
Beginner question about recording
Hi. When I try to record a guitar overdub in a Live arrangement, the output from any other tracks that are playing ends up on the guitar track along with the guitar. Similarly if I try to record along to the metronome, this gets recorded on the guitar track. How can I record along to the arrangement/ metronome, so that I just record the guitar, and nothing else?
Cheers.
Cheers.

I've solved the problem now - thank GOD!! My sound card was set to record from the stereo mix rather than line in. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Much appreciatedThat must be from some internal routing in your soundcard probably. If you set a track to record from a single input, you shouldn't get anything else there.
Enjoy!
