Guys..
Check out this red box that James Zeibelas is using... Could this box be the missing link between CDJ 1000 and his Macbook running Live? This box could sync the BPM maybe??? Do you know what it is?

Would this RED Box be the missing link???
Korg Mini Kaoss Pad
I don't think that auto-detects bpm though.
Check out Redsound's SoundBite Micro

I believe the Pioneer DJM-800 can generate a MIDI clock signal through it's BPM effects engine.DJThis wrote:Guys..

yeah, i can confirm.
to generate the midi clock i need to synch Live to decks i use soundbite micro by redsound too.
it works well, just some difficulties to be able to start Live on the beat when you press play.
yupp, it's the new mini kaoss pad, and just out of curiousity why are most of you are so dependend on BPM detectors? this is something i never understood, to me those things are the most useless items ever made.
but hey there are millions of drummers in the need of a metronome as well i guess.
i don't think that someone from the caliber of james zabiela needs a BPM detector, but then again, i might be totally wrong.
