Live 6 On Mac Will Not Start

When I attempt to launch Live (6.07) on my Max (OS X Panther) the application begins to initialize and then it asks me for an empty folder where it can install the Ableton Live Library. I already have the library installed, but it doesn't recognize it. When I create a new empty folder and point Live to use that to install the Library the software suddenly quits without any warning or error msg.

I've removed Live from my computer and attempted to install it multiple times.

I don't understand what is causing this or how to fix it.

Hi,

Where on the computer is the empty folder that you choose? Try to choose it on the desktop. That will only be temporary, sonce once Live opens, you can go to the Preferences, and set again the right Library. Later on, you can delete the temporary Library.
