I find when I'm playing live with my controller that I'm constantly having to reach over and adjust the view from channel view to clip view with mouse/keyboard. This shouldn't be necessary.
1. If I select clip view on one channel, and then select a new channel with my midi controller (faderfox), I'd like to see the clip as default on the new channel.
2. I'd also like to be able to set clip view as the default.
3. Finally, I'd like to be able to assign a midi key to toggle clip view and channel view.

For point 1. assign the pie chart field in the respective track to select your track (instead of the upper track selector),
that's the field at the right of the track stop button.
This always shows your running clip when selecting a track.
Point 2 you can set in preferences, select on midi launch must be checked,
and for point 3 you can use something like midistroke (mac) or similar for pc to emulate the shift+tab keystroke with a midicontrol.
