question from newbie

i just recorded an 80 minute mix and rendered it to disk and the file was over 800 MB's!

this isn't right surely :? where am i going wrong?

any help much appreciated!

COS ITS A WAV OR SOMETHING. LOAD IT INTO ITUNES OR SIMILAR AND CONVERT IT TO A 192 MP3 OR SOMETHING AND ITL BE ABOUT 80MBS. SORRY MY CAPS LOCK HAS BROKE!
