I'm using an Edirol FA-66 with a macbook pro (osx 10.4.10)
after about an hour of use, audio suddenly fades out, and then back in again, popping and glitching on the way.... it basically keeps doing this until i unplug the soundcard and then plug it back in again (and restart whatever program i'm using)
its definately not just live that is causing it because it happens when i'm using itunes too.
its almost as if it's overheating - but obviously this is completely unnatural after such a short amount of time
the FA-66 is new so i cant really tell for sure if its something recent that has caused it (before i just used my laptop's built-in output, which still works fine)
If anyyone can shed some light on the matter I would be very grateful.
Any suggestions as to whether it's worth ringing edirol or just getting a straight refund from where I bought it?
