With the help of various great MIDI controllers I've freed myself from from touching the computer while playing. I stick it on a shelf under everything else and just play.
But, I've got to duck down and look at the tempo every time I want to change songs. This is because, 1) the MIDI controller I use for the tempo is relative and 2) as far as the software goes, I like to make sudden jumps in tempo. Because it's a relative control, if I make a sudden jump without looking I've got no idea what the speed of the next beat with be.
So, how can I get something that displays the tempo for me so I can stop disappearing behind the booth?
My MIDI controllers are:
KorgPADKONTROL
M-Audio Trigger Finger
M-Audio Redium 49
Yamaha MFC10
These won't do it, will they?? If not, what will?
