Exporting Audio

Post by K » Fri Jul 06, 2007 4:44 pm

I imported an mp3 of a track I had made in another program. I warped it and transposed it and now I want to export it as an aiif file so that I can use it in pro tools. I tried to render to disk, but it was just a blank one second aiff file.

Any advice/suggestions?

Thanks

Make sure the track isn't muted, or that other tracks are soloed. The track must be in arrangement view. Then, select ctrl+a, and render to disk.

From arrangement view (hit TAB if you are in session view) select the time that you want to render using the braces at the top of the screen. Click the brace so it's selected (turns black), then select FILE=>RENDER. At the bottom of the window is should say something like "Rendering 1.1 to xxx". Select the output format and go from there.
