Instruments and Lessons disappearing

I've been setting up live and, twice now, all of my preset instruments and lessons have disappeared. any idea what's happening?

Hello,

What exacly makes the content 'disappear'? The other user in the thread you quoted says 'on changing the audio driver', that sounds really strange. What is your case?

First thing to make sure about: see the Library path, in the Preferences, File/Folder tab. The default path is:

PC: C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\Ableton\Library
Mac: user homefolder/library/application support/ableton/library

that's the problem - I changed the library path. In trying to change it back though, I am not seeing a "Library" folder in the Docs and settings Ableton folder. Could it be under another name?

Maybe search your computer for something which can only be part of the Ableton library structure, like "Instrument Rack"

Did you look at the right account, on your computer, in the Documents and Settings folder?
