editing problem in newest beta

maybe this has been a problem for a while, i dunno. i'm zoomed in pretty far, so eat quarter note is divided into 8 parts. so.. what's that, 32nd notes? anyway, i'm trying to extend the edge of an audio file by one 32nd note, but it keeps jumping and making me extend it by an entire quarter note. there's no way around it
