Ableton distorts certain voices and strings!!

Post by Alexander Wunderlich » Wed Jul 18, 2007 3:18 am

If i play a high pitch Voice or String on Ableton, it sounds distorted, sort of like jumpy. I play the same sample in another player and there is no problem. What should I do!? Is it a configuration problem?

Hi,

Are your clips warped? In that case, turn the warp button OFF, and listen again.

Hi,

The best thing to do is to experiment with the different Warp modes, there is certainly one that would sound correctly, if properly tweaked. But of course, extreme warping creates artifacts.
