ableton vs edirol ua25

i have a very big problem.
using ableton live 5.0.1 with win xp, want to activate my edirol ua 25 soundcard in the settings, test-tone is oke, but when i start the liveset my system died. no sounds, no reaction. the same problem is with m-audio-soundcard.

when i activate the soundcard of my pc, (Fujitsu via2 audio) than all is oke.

what the problem? anyone a idea?

i have a konzert in 2 days and a im afraid . huaaa

First thing to do is to install the latest update for Live 5, available there:
http://www.ableton.com/latest_versions
