live with multitrak reorder

i want to connect live to my multitrack recorder so i could reord all the individual drums separately, but i want it to start recording as son as i press play on live, i dont want to let it start recording amd after i press play i want everything to be done at the same time. Who knows what i can do?

check your manual, and hhok up some midi cables from your cpu to your multitrack.

of course i am assuming you have a digital multitrack.

hook the midi cables up,

then chack ablton manual and multi-track manual for sync issues

should work just fine.

you can set it up when either ableton starts the machine, or the machine starts ableton.
