Preview Samples

This is in the Ableton Manual. I do not see any headphone icon. How come?

You should preview it always, but you can adjust the the volume level with the little sign (headphone?) near the Masterfader.

After Clicking on one of the custom locations of the Browser (one of the three icons labeled 1,2 and 3), on the left hand side of the title bar of the Browser, you'll find the 'speaker' icon.
