would this work as a plugin in ableton to control all the parameters on my juno 106?

anyone?

the idea of editing a plugin on screen and saving it in a set so as not to have to save programs on my actual keyboards sounds really sexy to me.

it seems like it should..but (if you haven't already) i would contact their support and ask them if they know whether or not it works in live...or if you can possibly get a demo since whether or not you purchase it, may be contingent upon whether or not it will work.
Leave it to the pros ;)

sorry, i cant answer your question. i can say that i've found it difficult to get answers as there doesn't seem to be too many people using midiquest.

i've had some feedback from some people (not here) and it seems quite mixed with some saying it's a lucky dip when it comes to compatibility with your chosen hardware. some synths work great, others not so.

the impression i get with midiquest is that it seems a little too good to be true but wont know for sure until i test it out with my Roland D550...alas i've yet to get the time

I tried the demo, couldn't get it to do much.

The 'midiquest uses Sysex messages to control the 106,
(106 uses Sysex)...
Live does not send sysex (actually it filters sysex out...and doesnt even pass it in the other end...)
so you need to send midi notes to tha midiquest and use IT to control the 106
(midiquest uses sysex)...

then you can midi map CCs to the params. in midiquest...

I dont use midiquest and do not own a 106 but when I did I used this thing right here:
