audio clitching in Live v5.0 but not v3.0 or v4.0?

When I insert a .wav or mp3 file as a clip in Live 5.0 I get audio clitching or poping. When I insert the same clips in version 3.0 or 4.0 I don't have any problems. I'm thinking it can't be any latency problems because the earlier versions of Live work fine. I don't have any problems in other music apps (ie: Reason, CuBase, Fruity Loops, etc.) I like working in Live and thought that Version 5.0 would work as well as my earlier versions. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I'm at a total loss?

Hi,

The first thing to do is certainly to update your version to the latest version of Live 5, which is 5.2.2.
Then, try to compare you settings, in the Audio Preferences, so that they are the same as in your earlier versions of Live.
