Supposed to take 5-10 seconds to preview a clip?

New to Ableton but loving it, except, is it supposed to take 5 to 10 seconds to hear a clip play that I'm previewing from the file browser?

Is there anything that I can do to speed this up?

it will follow the global quantize setting, so if the transport is running and you've got it set to something like 4 bars, 8 bars... could take a while.

it's not lightning fast but it's surely faster than what you describe

Thanks, that seemed to help. Hopefully my forthcoming computer upgrade will help even more!
