So, im curious, using the feedback parameter in for example a delay, should theoreticly have the same sound/effect as using the feedbacklooping on a Return track. The sound is different tho, anyone know why?
Is there some internal filtering goin on inside the plugins perhaps?
Feedback vs. Feedback in Returns
there shouldn't be a difference, unless there is some plugin delay calculation going on, incorrectly. Returns sent to themselves don't calculate PDC - so if there is something like a compressor with look-ahead in your set somewhere it could impact the sound.
when you use the send for feedback have you go the delay set at 100% wet and feedback =0 ?

Well, feedback via a return is going to add a little bit of latency -- there's no way to avoid that in the digital world (until we figure out how to make signals travel back in time). If you've got a return feeding back to itself, it will process a chunk of audio, then feed that processed chunk back to itself and process it again (mixed w/ whatever else is sent to that return, of course).
