Help - Mapped keys on(held) off(not) possible?

i need to use mapped keys as on when held and off when not rather than toggle.

please help, time sensitive

You need to supply some more information than that. By key do you mean computer keyboard key? Midi controler key?

Are you talking about mapping them to launch of clip? A control in a vsti? etc...

For a clip, obviously there are different launch modes to use. It looks like you just need to pick "gate" instead of toggle but it's hard to tell from your question.

Gate: note on starts the clip, note off stops it.
