what is a good wireless mouse for a macbook pro?

Post by aisling » Mon Sep 10, 2007 12:20 am

I want to get a new wireless mouse. Any brand recommendations? I have had the same mouse for 5 years now. Is blue tooth or usb wireless more reliable as far as music goes?

Thank you!

I use both the Wireless Mighty Mouse and a Microsoft Wireless Mouse with my
MB Pro (which is unfortunately my work computer), depending on whether I'm
at home or at work, and how lazy I am. The MS Mouse that I use is the Wireless
Notebook Optical Mouse, model no. 1023. Both work equally well, and sell for
about the same price.

(I also use both mice with my Powerbook, also without problems)
1.67 GHz G4 Powerbook
OSX 10.4.10
2 GB RAM
MOTU Traveler, Oxygen 8, Trigger Finger, NS Design,
Chapman Stick, lots of synths, lots of plugs, lots of strings, never enough cables or money :)

The wireless mighty mouse is a piece of shit in my opinion. Flakey right click, and rsi waiting to happen.

Anything by Logitech gets my vote. I love Apple stuff, but could never get on with their mice.

what i want to say is that the mm not accurate and the click sux.. apple tried to be innovative but it really is a pain to use compared to a other mice.

even the cheap logitech for like 20€ are more accurate.

sidenote: i don‘t work for logitech

:D Thank you all for your time and opinions. I appreciate it and have some base knowledge to shop further.

Hi there probably irrelevant but I think wireless mice suck big time.
They stall and stick, create extra things to go wrong and their batteries run out. I hate them. lots.
Just get one with a wire :)

I appreciate your point of view, but I need the flexibility of the wireless. I have been wired for ever (sounds worse than what I mean  ) and really need the portability. I think USB wireless is more reliable than blue tooth.
