First off, the specs:
I'm running windows xp, Intel Celeron 2.8GHZ, 1GB of Ram and enough hard drive space.
I ran Live before on this computer, but I recently reformatted and am
now having some problems.
I'm using Live Lite 4.0.4 with the usb Axiom 61 keyboard.
I'm able to install the latest drivers for the axiom fine. Everything
seems to be in order until I run Live and notice when I press a key,
it's not receiving any signal. So in midi preferences under the midi
tab, I also notice it's not even recognizing that the axiom is detected
whereas it used to before I reformatted. I've tried un-installing and
re-installing drivers, plugging the axiom in different usb ports, turned
it off/on, etc. But nothing in Live indicates that it's receiving a
signal. Oh, and I'm up to date with all of my windows updates as well,
as far as I know.
I'm not sure if this happened before but I notice that if I disconnect
and connect the axiom, windows recognize it and appears to install
perhaps its own driver for it, naming it "USB Composite Device" (i
believe). I'm not sure if that's the problem, but in device manager,
I've tried un-installing that and then using either the drivers off the
m-audio axiom CD or off their website to see if it makes a difference
but with no such luck. Rather frustrating since all of this worked fine
before...
Any help would be appreciated.
