Just installed, can't find the instrument racks or eic

Hi, I've just installed live 6 onto my computer. I'm running vista, so I used to downloadable installer off the ableton website as opposed to the discs that came in the package I bought. In the browser view, the Instrument Racks folder, Impulse folder, and Simpler folder are all empty. Strangely, all of the folders show up full in the lesson's, but when I go to a new set, they are all gone. Also, I unlocked the EIC instruments, but they are no where to be found either. Any help would be really appreciated!

the EIC is in the boxed version only, read the instructions closely.
