Reaktor in Live

Hi,

I searched the internet for it, but couldn't find it.

I want to use Reaktor in Live, but Reaktor doesn't use ReWire.

I installed Reaktor, but the VST's wont show up in Live... and why?? dont know..

Is there someone who has the trick?

Live and Reason runs nice, but i want to do the same with Reaktor and Live.

Please help!

Reaktor works fine in Live, I use it all the time. You need to check where the dll's ended up after the Reaktor install. Search your drives for Reak*.dll and find where they are. If they are not where you keep your other VST's then reinstall, taking note of the questions asked when installing and make sure you point the directory for installation of the VSTs (dll) you browse to your Live VST directory.

If you want to double check that this is the problem before reinstalling - once you have found the directory where the dll's are, then go to options/preferences/file locations (I'm guessing at this) and update your VST directory to the one where the Reaktor dlls are. That should work

Hi, thanks for the reply, but i cant get it together.

I run Live 6.0.10 on a mac and installed reaktor 5 like u said.

i updated the vst and au's but dont see them in Live.

When i browse for the reaktor vst via Live, the only thing i get is a folder containing the contents and no vst to use.

Anyone with a tip/trick?
