Looping While Setting Warp Mode Markers

Why doesn't my Loop fuction work when I'm setting warp markers? The loop button and location windows are completely deactivated.

it works, just click the 'loop' button in the clip view when you're ready. then either type in the values or go find the bar

This is really strange because the loop button is, this is true, deactivated when warp is off, but if you are setting warp markers warp is undoubtly on. Would you mind posting a screen shot?
