Monitor, but don't record midi in session while playing

Post by Taiis » Thu Sep 27, 2007 11:03 am

1. Midi clip plays in session
2. I want to try out some new things
3. If I click record, I'll start recording it - but I don't want that - I just want to play around untill I get it right.

A possible solution could be a small "Preview" button or something next to the record button.

Hi,

In my experience, you need to set monitor to AUTO, arm the track, and make sure that Overdub is OFF in the transport bar, isn't it?
