Rewire problems with reason / windows / multiprocessor

Post by Ernie444 » Sat Oct 06, 2007 9:05 am

There is a problem sending midi data to reason as slave if I have turned on the multiprocessor option. Rewire 'looses' midi notes so I have to turn off the multiprocessor option. Is this a known problem?

Mac or PC? Do you use a Novation Remote SL controller or ever had one installed?

Best regards,

Hi,

I reported this months ago and it looks like there has been no progress with the issue.

It has prevented me from using Melodyne studio. I am stuck with just using the plug-in which is a total drag. Is this something that is going to be fixed in the future. Have you guys determined if it is an issue in Live or the other application’s implementation of ReWire? Live is the only application that is adversely effected by installing Melodyne this is why I keep coming back to Ableton for answers.

@dahrma,
Ernie444's problem may be a completely different one. Until I don't have more information about his computer specs and the used devices, it is way to early to provide an accurate error diagnosis.

As for the Melodyne/Multiprocessor/Rewire issue you are referring to, we are in contact with Celemony to find out more details. Hope this will be ironed out asap.
