My heart sank when I saw live 7 release

Post by djworthy » Sat Oct 06, 2007 2:12 pm

Has anyone recently invested in a copy of live 6 to find it will be out of date in a matter of weeks? I have and only a week off being eligible for a free upgrade!!!!!

Not a happy man at the moment.

Are you saying you missed the free upgrade period?

Why don't you contact them and explain the situation, they might work something out for you.

If you bought a qualifying model after 1 October, you can get Leopard for 10$.

It's gotta be worth the phone call! Not that I'm hugely fussed cause I knew it was coming and i'd rather wait till it's all settled down so i can work drivers, apps etc.

Also I was going to get the family pack anyway I have a macbook to upgrade.

now... where's the phone?

Careful people!!!

Don't upgrade that Mac OS until you know for a fact that your audio software is compatible with it!!!!!!

Hey thanks McBoob, I've just been having a email conversation with a friend this afternoon outlining my plan to stick with 10.4 till I know I can switch and not be missing out on anything. I'm in no rush, that's why I bought the MBP before I was released. (If I can have it for 10 bucks then I want it for 10 bucks)
