1. look up reverse in the manual.

2. press the reverse button.

3. all caps equals SHOUTING on the internet, and is usually considered rude or unfriendly.

If you need a somewhat dynamic solution try KlangLabs "Backman" http://klanglabs.siliconemusic.com/ It will take the signal and reverse it "On the fly". To reverse a cymbal... press the reverse button. And for christs sake take your capslock off. It's impressing no one.

You lot sound like a bunch of teachers telling off a naughty child. Give the guy a break. It's only a forum.

This part of the forum is for posting a cool tip or trick. Not for asking beginners' questions.

The forum doesn't have a beginners' question section, so the general section is probably the go.

And don't forget you have detention after class!

Using Sound Forge 5:
Open file in program
Go to Process menu
click on Reverse.
Done.

Some samplers have this as a function... ie
the NN-XT (Propellerheads Reason)
knob marked Play Mode
Highlight the sample you want to reverse and toggle the knob to Bw.

The reason for the frustration on this thread I think is because it is a fairly simple thing to do but there is so many ways to do it.

This isn't rocket science people. Its accepted knowledge on any forum ANYWHERE, that using all caps in your posts is annoying and rude, and commonly associated with yelling and screaming. Caps are for the beginning of sentences and emphasis. Plus its just plain unnecessary. He could expect the same response from someone on any other board. But if he wants people to think he's been on the net for all of five minutes.. Whatever.. It just makes me take his real questions less seriously.
