Live 3.0 loops run half speed with other apps

I'm running Live 3.0 on a 1.25GhZ iMac with OS 10.3.1. My interface is an M-Audio Firewire Audiophile.

Live works fine until I launch another application, such as Native Instruments B4 or Arturia Moog. At that point, my Live loops run at half speed and pitch is lowered approximately one octave. If I launch B4 or Arturia Moog and then launch Live, Live exhibits the same problem and the sounds in the other applications are heard about one octave ABOVE normal pitch.

Any ideas what could be going on?

Sounds a little bit like your sample rate is being converted, due to the other applications (or your audio cards) default Sample Rate..
