[dumb ass question] Changing chords in Live?

Post by filow » Thu Nov 01, 2007 10:44 am

:?

Here we go:

How do I change chords in a small midi sequence I'm recording?

I wanna go fra D3 playing the "fifth" chord preset to C3 in the "house for to go" preset. .
Since the midi effect cabinet only holds one chordeffect per track, I don't know what to do.
It's a dumb ass question, I know, but me knowledge about playing chords as such is really limited.

thanks Simon.

Use a MIDI Rack with a different chord preset in each chain. then use the chain selector to choose between chords. You can map this to a macro and automate it.

it's easy once you know how. Gen up on midi effect racks and chain select in manual
