Post by oz02 » Tue Nov 13, 2007 10:14 am

hi,

if i use sample that were recorded in 120bpm (for example) and i speed them up or slow them down,

then i get a stuttering/tremelo type sound coming from tht sample,

this happens at every bpm i try and is even worse on whole tracks, what can i do to top this??

i really need your help because i can't evn warp a track or a sample the tiniest bit without getting this trmelo/stutter effect and consiquently i cant dj without seeing problems

what to do??

i would appreciate any input

thanks

Different warp modes serve different purposes. Look in the manual for info on which does what.

I usually use complex warp mode.

Im guessing that the sample is quite a full sounding synth type sample, and that you are using the beats warp mode. Beats is best for drum based music.

Complex should iron out your problems, but takes a little more CPU though.
