hello
I'm having some trouble when I'm recording loops in arr. view. I'm doing live looping, and want the record button to punch-out at the end of the loop. this doesn't happen in loop mode, only when the loop region is deactivated. Any tips?

is there some reason you're doing this in arrange rather than session (where this can be handled via quantize, though there's no auto punch out after pre-specified loop length, if that's what you're describing).

yeah, I'd like to do this in session, but is it possible to record music there? I find that live jumps to arr. the minute I hit record. That would be ideal, if I could jump from clips in session and at the same time record. Thanks for answering

You don't record in Session by clicking the record at the top.
You arm tracks click on the clips and they will start allowing you to record in them.

Yes...You arm tracks click on the clips and they will start allowing you to record in them. It's the same for midi and for audio though the source is different.
