First let me begin by saying that live(digidesign ed) has been the highlight of my mbox/pro tools experience(frustration aplenty w/PT)Unlike PT I was able to start creating nearly instantly.I have however been unable to access the crossfader or the A B sides of the crossfade mixer I have not been able to record my guitar(as demonstrated on this website).The PDF manual nor the website state these as limitations of the digidesign version.Am I just being lame or must I buy live 3? I have no problem doing so as this is SOOOO much fun! I would however like to "master the basics" (I also bought dave hills' excellent "Making music with Ableton Live") of 2.1 all help is welcome
