Live 6.0.10 & Battery 3.0.2 = Random CRASHES / HANGING

Post by TheProdigy » Sat Nov 17, 2007 5:11 pm

Oh man, this is driving me nuts!!!!

When using Live and Battery 3 it's OK for a bit but at any time when actually using Battery ie. clicking on something, it hangs the WHOLE PC  :x

Before anyone dares to ask, Yes, they are both REAL licensed copies.

NI so called Commmunity support is cack! I've sent a Support form to NI and no response so far.

Anyone got any ideas?

I'd start by updating Live to the current version... 6.0.2 was a long time ago.
Other system info?

Thanks for quick reply! :D

Sorry, typo (I corrected it now), I meant Ableton Live 6.0.10.

I'm on Vista 32bit, all patched up etc. and Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz, 2GB RAM, X-FI Extreme (sh!t) Music

I've noticed it hangs almost every time I mute one of the cells :?

I'm going to try turning of Multi support in Ableton and fiddling with Battery options...

I've also just re-downloaded Battery 3.0.2 update manually and installed it again and got Live to Re-Scan the my VST folder, still no joy.

Any other ideas?

I haven't seen that, but I'm not running Vista either.
Turning off multi support in Live's probably not a bad idea; that's the first thing I'd try.
