Is it possible to use ableton as a "vst" in pro tools?

We're currently working on a project in pro tools (computer 1 on pro tools, computer 2 on ableton), and we're using a lot of ableton drums and bass - however, we're just recording these as pure audio, and this kinda limits our editing possibilities a lot..

Any chance of either a) recording (or rather transporting) the midi from ableton to pro tools directly?
or b) using ableton as a vst in pro tools?
