Audio + MIDI on "same" track?

Post by AndyP » Thu Nov 22, 2007 4:04 pm

** n00b alert **

I've been experimenting with using GSnap pitch correction VST (availble free here) on some recorded vocals.

I can get it to work in AUTO mode, simply by dropping it onto an audio track as an effect - it then automatically corrects the pitch of the audio on the track.

I'd like to try using it in MIDI mode, but I have no idea how to go about it... I can't figure out how to "feed" MIDI notes to it!

Any help much appreciated!

Cheers
Andy

Some plugins work like this: create a second (MIDI) track for your notes. Send MIDI to Track 1, GSnap. I think a second box will become highlighted. Did that make sense...?
