Hi, first post in the forum here, but I've been using Live since ver.6 came out. I've been home recording/mixing/making tunes on the computer for about 2 years now. I have many songs in various stages of mixing, spanning many different genres. For a taste, check out my links... any feedback or advice on the songs/mixing would be super!

Snow covered City - first few seconds in and I'm getting digital distortion. 
Only very brief but enough to annoy a listener. Other than that very good, nice and epic.
Dear Jane - great synth hook, though that lead synth is too loud, bring it back a decibel or two.
Love the delays at 1.30- onwards. Argh but they get drowned by that lead synth again. 
Beats are great, I have to say, lots of great little samples thrown into the mix that really draw the ears in.

hey, thanks for your input, downfader! It's great getting feedback. I just realized that I always forget to listen to my stuff with other speakers/monitors/earbuds instead of just my ultra bassy muff phones. As soon as I heard the lead synth from Dear Jane in my earbuds, I saw what you meant. I agree on the lead being slightly too loud. (You're talking about the clean lead, right?) The delay part actually ends as both synths come back in, but maybe toning down the lead and cross fading back into it might help?
As for Snow covered city, what is the digital distortion you're talking about? From the bells, strings, or just background fuzz? I can't seem to catch it on my audio...
