Hi ableton folks!
I wonder which way is the best way to rewire the reason effects in live.
For instance, when i use a combinator and would like to automatize a delay inside a combinator,
i choose the envelopes to do this, but when i choose the delay in the midi output of the track in live so that the delay becomes visible in the envelopes
, i can't hear the channel while i automate.
I can only automatize first and then choose the combinator again in the output to hear what's happened to the sound.
I would like to have something like the host automation in kontakt, where i can do this and then see the specified cc in the envelope.
How do you work with automation of reason effects this way?

have you tried rewiring reason as audio in live instead of as midi? or send the midi track to an audio track and automate from there...i'm working on this same situation...

Hello!
I've tried the new external instruments and the option you suggested.
I felt that the external instruments rack complicated this procedure.
The thing is, automation of the reason devices is working without problems, it's just the effects.
thank you for your response though!
