Anyone know how to use Chordspace?

Anyone using this? I really want to use it, but can't figure out how to configure the midi settings so it works. I got it as part of a CD with Computer Music magazine and it had a brief tutorial, but it described how to set it up with Sonar, which I don't have any idea about, and so it didn't make a lot of sense to me re Ableton.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
