LIVE 7 NOT PREVIEWING IN TEMPO?

Am I missing something here? a new preference?
This is the first time since Version 1 where i've upgraded and am unable to click on on clips/sample in the browser to preview and the tempo is unmatched.
what's going one?
can anyone help?

I wrote e-mail to ableton tech support about a week ago
haven't got anything yet..

is the song stopped or playing while you are previewing?

there is a new preview mode which will play the loop as originally recorded if the song is stopped.

how do we avoid using this "new" mode? Can we switch back to the conventional preview mode? (samples preview warped)

it's not.
it's intentional (from manual):

CHAPTER 5. MANAGING FILES AND SETS 42
Click on the les (or use and ) to select and listen to them. If the transport is running,
Live tries to preview les in sync with the current Live Set, so that you can better judge
which samples will work for you. If the transport is stopped, les will preview at their original
tempo.

have you tried with rex files too
i m having tempo problem only when i was previewing rex files

but..still let me try once again and let you know

This change in Live 7 sucks to me. They should have at least given the option to go back to the way Live has been since version 1.
