Transferring from Ableton 6 to 7

How do I play complete songs from version 6 in version 7? Because I get missing sample files that I cannot find. How do I incorporate these two versions so that I can open songs from 6 and 7 smoothly without dealing with mislocated files and such?

options-preference-files folders
set 6 and 7 to the same paths for all the settings.

Method 2:

In Live 6 do a collect all and save, and then open the project in Live 7.

^ do that every time. disk drives are cheap, sample issues suck. I do that with all my sets.

Basically I did a restructuring of my files for the two versions.... i think i am set now. thanks for all your help. happy music making.
