MOTU DP vs Live.

I think DP is to much work to learn. I used the free demo of Live and loved it. If I am using outboard gear, does anyone think that Live would be a good piece of software to use.

live has a very intuitive interface that I find extremely easy to use which makes focusing on the song and making music the priority. follow your instincts.

Live's Strenght is it's session view.

To be honest it isn't all that great at handling very large track counts IMHO.

That being said i have completed mixes within Live using 75 + tracks along with 10-15 returns. That was in Live 6......

Now with group tracks and automation lanes things are much easier.

If your Looking at lots of audio i'd go DP no question.
