OSI support, that you'll have to pay for, as opposed to including it for nothing in Live 7.

If you think about abl racks, they could become more of a modular system at a certain point...

co-sign, but i am not paying for the upgrade if it just has that. hell, i am not paying for another upgrade if it has a destructive audio editor because i already have adobe audition.

its going to take more than that for me to rush the line in 2008.

I think Ableton + Cycling 74 will bring us:

group tracks, lfo device, automation in session view, more than 128 parameters, dual monitor support, Sonar's MIDI tools, surround support, track colours, global transpose, better clip grid marking, right-click to create instrument/effect + favourites plug-in list, ALL functions MIDI assignable, next/previous preset buttons instead of that superlame dropdown menu, automation curves, ghost clips/linked clips, more filter modes in auto filter and of course an omgmelodicupliftingprogtranceinizer button

Hopefully modular/customizable add-ons that work like plugins and MIDI instruments and handle both audio and video.

Please don't mention the word add-ons to Ableton, they really seem to like it, i prefer the expression "included instruments & effects".
