is there a way to view a parameter as its being tweaked

ive been messing around making different templates and what not and was just wondering if there was a way to switch to an effect when its corresponding control surface is used.
for example, there are 2 tracks with an eq 8 on both, preset 1 on my trigger finger controls the eq 8 on track 1 whilst preset 2 does the same on track 2, now when im viewing track 1s eq but manipulate the eq on track 2(using preset 2 on the trigger finger) is there a way to switch the view to track 2 without having to click on that track.
its not a big deal but i think is a little handy if it can be done.

Try mapping each track effects view to a controller (knob,fader,etc)... this way you can switch between both views regardless of the knobs you're tweaking.And you don't have to use the mouse to click on them.
