A Plea for High Quality Processing/EFX

I was going to post this on the topic that asks for an spectral analyzer integration with the EQ, but then i started writting something completely out of that direction, but never the less, i want an spectral+EQ plug just like that Voxengo Gliss EQ, and if you guys can, make it better!
Well, most DAWS (if not ALL) have simple tools. They don't have anything special at all, just pure digital simple algorithms and qualities, on a side, they are effective, but nothing special on them, they are just "simple". It would be awesome to see Ableton emerge with something quite unique on this, even if it is a lil bit more heavier on the cpu. No DAW that i know have an really good EQ for most situations, be it an musical eq, and corrective eq, an precision eq, an mastering eq etc so we are forced to use other expensive tools, and the same goes to compressors and reverbs, aswell other dynamics and efx tools. I know i'm asking for too much but could you please consider it? I liked very much the new compressor and it's features in live 7.0, but still i doesn't sound nothing at all like an Sonalksis, Waves Renaiscance, URS, and Sonnox Dynamics for example (ok i know i'm playing heavy here) but it's time for all DAWS to grow up, enough with the basic tools, it's been like this for what? More than 10 years? we always have to go for other plugins to "professionaly" shape our stuff, and even then, outboard gear, cos digital can't do "that live natural thing" with the 1's and 0's. We need tools that are more serious and competitive with the big tools out there, tools that shape or give the characteristics that each of us need on the DAW not from out of it. If i could just use Ableton's EQ and Compressor properly, man it's such a waste! I know i'm asking for something quite out of the reality of DAWS in the moment, but please if possible, consider and think about this. Thank you!

Anyhow, I simply think the request was a bit to big and to vague. You can't ask every company who makes DAWs to have better overall effects... that's kinda ridiculous no?
It'll be more meaningful and constructive. The Ableton team can't really guess what's in your head when you say: All DAW effects are bad... BTW, lots of people have been complaining about the EQ.
