Thanks for the tip. I have been looking for something like this.
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

now i am reading musicophilia by oliver sacks also about neuroscience and music, highly recommended.

Picked up "This is your brain on music" last night. Going to read through it today. Thanks for the tip and everyone elses about some of the other ones.
