That's easy, Leopard's working fine, but Vista still has little or no support for it's integrated audio and MIDI improvements......
Just installed Leopard on the macbook pro, and it feels smoother than Tiger, might take a few more CPU cycles to get there, but I'm so used to working with an 800mhz laptop that I can't tell. Ask again in a year when Vista is sorted out and it might be different.

Again i sugest test vista with sp1 if you have 3gb ram, god video card with 128mb and 7200 rpm HD, and any core duo better of 1.66ghz
If you not reach that specs......use any other or buy mac.

I order DELL M1730
2.8ghz core duo extreme
LCD 17 inch
4gb ram
2x 200gb 7200 rpm
2 x nvidia 8700M GT SLI 512MB

This monster notebook have same cost here on my country of MACBOOK PRO 17 inch.
And again for me vista work exelent !!

Leopard isn't all roses and good happy thoughts IMO. It feels faster than Tiger, but there's still little things that don't work right (resume in Front Row, moving files in a single partition sometimes just copies them, etc), and stability is slightly compromised. Considering the next update to leopard has more bug fixes than any other they've released, I'd say I'm not the only one. I like Leopard for the most part, but the last few revisions of Tiger certainly felt more solid to me.

That said, minor complaints here, nothing serious at all.

^^^^ regarding the last few posts, you people are totally hopeless. How you can take a completely useless bullshit thread and twist into the holy war that I intended on mocking is beyond me.

On the other hand, props for threadjacking with some style. Not as good as the Covert Threadjackers (Tone, Beats, and yours truly), but not bad. Keep it up.

But don't read too far into it...it requires a sense of humor once you get past the "useful information"

I never thought I would tell you of all people, but lighten up a bit. :)
