Is there specific audio channel output for live I'm not aware of ?
Basically I'm trying route channels 17&18 out of PC/ableton to my digital mixer's inputs 17&18 purely for monitoring purposes. But I get no audio coming out of Live.
I get audio from battery rewired in live just fine, same goes for my motif. But I get no metronome sound, or any of the patches that came with live to sound for that matter.
My question is, is there a speciific channel that Live uses for monitoring?
any input is much appreciated

the channel numbers in Live don't reflect the channel numbers on your sound card. if they ever do, it's a coincidence.
get some audio going, open the drop down box and try all the audio channels to see what maps to what. maybe then label each track with what gear you have hooked to it then save the set as default or '_default set' or whatever so you can pull it up again.
